Kristen Dilley, LAC
I am a licensed acupuncturist in both Oregon and California, and am also nationally certified. I completed over 2000 hours of coursework and over 1000 clinic hours in my academic program at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA. My particular program had an emphasis on Integrative Medicine so I have extensive training in Western Medicine, allowing me to practice as a primary care physician in California. AIMC also focuses on Japanese acupuncture which places great emphasis on ensuring that the patient is comfortable, ensuring a painless, yet highly effective needling technique.
I have a strong interest in women’s health, autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalances, LGBT health issues and stress reduction, but I enjoy working with a wide range of people and conditions to figure out your unique differential diagnosis. Acupuncture is a fascinating field and I chose it precisely because I never want to stop learning. My goal is to be a perpetual student, and I love working with my clients because I have found that you all have so much to teach.
For over a decade I have been working with plants as an herbalist, medicine maker and a gardener. My love of Western clinical and energetic herbalism led me to further my plant studies, and to begin tackling the huge expanse of herbal knowledge within Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am a strong advocate of plant medicine being integrated into one’s daily life, whether in the garden or in your medicine cabinet, and love helping people make it happen.
